WHAT DOES THE NAME MEAN? IS THIS SOMEONE'S SURNAME? The salon moniker is a revision of the Latin phrase "ab initio", meaning "from the beginning". Hopefully a fresh start will be achieved after your visit with the professionals at Abbinito.

Kelly Clary-Lamb, a Master Aesthetician, specializes in skincare treatments and facials formulated for aged, dry, oily, problematic and sensitive skin types. She also performs all of the waxing services for Abbinito. In addition, Kelly is a licensed manicurist and Creative Nail Design Master Nail Technician. Her specialties lie in thin, natural, healthy-looking nails enhanced with acrylic, silk & gel.
Kelly's services include facials, body waxing, manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.

Nancy Rose, is a Licensed Massage Therapist who was trained in Washington; practiced in Sedona and Scottsdale, AZ; Sonoma, CA, and Kirkland, WA. She comes with 15 years experience. Her signature work is LomiLomi, which incorporates long, connecting strokes to help integrate mind, body and spirit. She uses organic lotions and creams from Jacki's Lotions.

Linda Hood, joined the Abbinito team of professionals as our principal hair designer in 2006. She has over 35 years' experience in the beauty industry, including her time as an educator and salon owner in Portland, Oregon, and her several years as an Aveda cut and color specialist, here in Ashland.
Linda's beauty philosophy values low-maintenance cuts, and easy at-home styling. Her first love is color: fusing art, science and creativity give her the the most enjoyment, which has proven to be the biggest key to her success.
Linda uses and recommends L'anza hair color and hair care products."

Carsen, Abbinito's salon manager, was born and raised in Ashland, attended Ashland schools, and graduated in 2007 from Ashland High School. After high school, Carsen spent a month backpacking in Wyoming with the National Outdoor Leadership School, where she learned technical outdoor skills, leadership, and environmental ethics. In her spare time she enjoys rafting, fly-fishing, beading, and playing piano. |
